HR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our client, a prominent top tier law firm have just brought a very interesting new HR Operations Manager role to the market. This is a diverse and meaty role with a wide remit that will join a busy and supportive HR team. Experience working in the legal or professional services industry is mandatory for this role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of all HR operational activity across the firm, providing strong, visible leadership to direct team members.
- Ensure the HR operations function continues to deliver high and consistent standards of service, whilst compliant with relevant employment legislation.
- Provide support and advice on a wide range of complex and specialist people, payroll and benefit issues.
- Continuously review the effectiveness of key operating procedures within the HR operational sphere, implementing change to improve service delivery and drive efficiencies.
- Oversee the performance management process at the firm, working to continuously improve processes and increase engagement.
- Provide input into organisational policies and procedures, as appropriate and ensure that they are reviewed on a regular basis.
- Manage the monthly payroll cycle (with internal firm support), liaising with the firm's dedicated outsourced provider, anticipating any issues ahead of agreed pay dates.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HR system, ensuring adherence to all applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
- Explore technology solutions to optimise workflow and enhance the successful working of the HR operations model.
- Collaborate with other departments to create an integrated approach to HR operations.
- Manage and develop the firm's HR Advisor and HR Assistant, defining clear roles and responsibilities and consider future development opportunities.
Experience/Requirements
- 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or Business
- At least five years' HR Operations management experience, managing a team with proven strong leadership skills.
- Experience working in the legal or professional services industry.
- An experienced HR professional with a focus on process improvement and service excellence.
- Experience working in a professional services organisation is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong communicator, problem solver and project manager.
- Experience working with HR systems – a working knowledge of People XD is advantageous.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- You have change management experience to lead and drive transformation initiatives.
- Experience operating with agility in a fast-paced environment and can work with cross-functional stakeholders to embed a culture of risk awareness.
- Work under pressure and to strict deadlines, while maintaining a clear focus on quality and efficiency.
Remuneration Package
€65,000 - €75,000 plus benefits
