Key Responsibilities Design, provision, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform (IaC) following best practices for modularity, state management, security, and cost efficiency. Build and operate AKS clusters, including lifecycle management, upgrades, scaling, and cost optimization to ensure maximum utilization and adherence to budget constraints. Implement and manage network policy and security using Cilium (eBPF-based) to enforce micro-segmentation and secure pod-to-pod communications. Manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments with diverse workloads (stateless, stateful, batch, and service mesh integrations). Install, configure, and operate Argo CD for GitOps-driven continuous delivery across AKS clusters create and maintain application manifests, sync strategies, and RBAC. Develop and maintain CICD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and alerting for cluster and application health. Continuously analyze cloud usage and propose optimizations for cost control, including right-sizing, reserved instances, scaling strategies, and eliminating wasted resources. Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with development, security, and platform teams to define best practices, standards, and automation for cloud native operations. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks. Strong hands-on experience with Azure (AKS, VNet, Load Balancers, Managed Identities, Azure AD, Storage, Networking). Proficient in Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure resources experience with modules, workspacesstate backend, and CI integration. Practical experience installing, configuring, and operating Argo CD in AKS and managing GitOps workflows for application delivery. Solid knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and operations (deployments, StatefulSets, IngressService, Helm, CRDs). Hands-on experience with Cilium network policies and eBPF concepts to secure cluster networking and implement micro-segmentation. Experience operating and troubleshooting multi-cluster environments with diverse workloads and namespaces. Proven ability to analyze and control cloud costs with a focus on cost-aware architecture and efficient resource utilization. Good scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar) familiarity with CI tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud and Kubernetes environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications Certifications
