PRIMARY PURPOSE 

The role of the Web Developer is to assist and work with the team in developing and maintaining the systems in accordance with the business needs. The Web Developer is responsible for making/creating a unique and interesting web page design using computer programming skills.  

As a Web Developer, the goal is to write code, learn, and take notes from seniors. Coding Artist. For your first few months, depending on your level of proficiency and tasks at hand, may be put into a pair programming environment and work side-by-side with a senior team member. As you gain proficiency with the code base of your specific application(s), may be able to begin working remotely and scheduling your own time within the boundaries of team deadlines. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provides codes and organizes of new video websites with the use of open source and existing in-house technology 
• Keeps existing websites functional and updated with new technology and content, and may also create new concepts 
• Should create widgets for online video on PSI company website 
• Assists in making designs and assists in testing technical solutions 
• Performs and executes plans and coding standards per protocol of the PSI standard 
• Should always advocate time management and work under deadlines 
• Understands standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies our methodology effectively on project engagements 
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service on our projects  
• Actively applies feedback received to day-to-day work and strives to improve performance 
• Most importantly, one should comply with all our policies and procedures 
• Demonstrated the ability to work diligently under pressure to meet deadlines 
• Ensure a professional communication with PSI clients and within internal staff by presenting PSI in the best image 
• All client and internal staff communications need to be done through the PSI official number and follow email equities  
• Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ needs and monitor their preferences 
• Develop a strong knowledge of PSI products and services  
• Understand how the benefits of PSI products and services can meet Clients needs in various business verticals 
• Logical and Problem Solving  
• Developed xhtml/css/javascript for various projects using Suite CS5, Power BI  
• Maintained the current website and added more appealing features 
• Redesigned sections of the website to ensure a more attractive and user-friendly experience 
• Updated website content daily 
• Redesigned existing website to improve user experience and incorporated SEO techniques thereby increasing daily traffic A 
• Designed and developed functional dashboards for User 
• Worked closely with marketing team, and back-end developer to develop a strategy and plan website releases 
• Handling all Mylead error 
• Enhancing Mylead (added bulk upload feature, refresh buttons to load leads, tested SMS login) 
• Created & published around 35 Power BI reports per team, lead details, transactions, Units. 
• Publishing report to Mylead, the scheduler will refresh those reports every 2 hours 
• Create, maintain, and distribute monthly reports showing achievement of critical metrics regarding content creation, website traffic, and other Pipeline work stages  
• 1 -2 years of experience in Web Developing or a similar role 
• BS in computer science or a related field (Attested Degree Mandate) 
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript – (Preferably React or Angular) 
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as PHP (Preferably .NET core). 
• Experience with database systems such as SQL and MySQL 
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

• 2 -4 years of experience in Web Developing or similar role 
• BS in computer science or a related field (Attested Degree Mandate) 
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS(LESS/SASS) and Javascript 
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET 
• Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle 
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
