Head of Security | Based in the UAE | Hybrid Working

We've partnered with a high-growth, well-funded B2B technology platform building a cloud-native, AI-powered investment and trading stack for institutional clients across the MENA region.

The platform is live. Enterprise customers are onboard. Scale is happening.

Now, security needs a dedicated owner.

This role exists to take full ownership of platform security, make it audit-ready by default, and ensure enterprise customers can onboard with confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll own security end-to-end, including:

• Building a secure-by-default SaaS platform that developers can self-serve against
• Ensuring constant audit and enterprise-review readiness
• Leading security across GRC, Application Security, and IT Operations
• Embedding security into architecture, CI/CD, and engineering workflows
• Acting as the security point of contact for leadership, customers, and partners
• Leading incident readiness, response, and continuous improvement

This is a hands-on leadership role.

You’ll lead a small, capable security team, stay close to the technical details when needed, and be personally accountable for outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience securing cloud-native B2B SaaS platforms
• Strong grounding in AppSec, cloud security, IAM, and compliance
• Comfortable supporting enterprise audits and security reviews
• Able to work at pace and influence engineers and executives alike
• Pragmatic, commercial, and outcome-focused
• Fintech, wealthtech, or regulated platform experience is a strong plus.
