Developex is looking for a Junior Python Developer to work with an award-winning cloud platform that enhances awareness about skills and expectations, unifies all parts of the professional learning experience in one place, and puts teachers in the middle of their professional learning.

Expected Hard Skills

  • 1–1.5 years of experience in Python development.
  • Strong understanding of the Django framework;
  • Proficiency with Git for version control;
  • Experience with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL;
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript;
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • At least an intermediate level of English (writing and speaking).

Expected Soft Skills

  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Strong communication skills to effectively participate in team discussions.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with the Django Rest Framework (DRF) and React;
  • Knowledge of AWS services;
  • Unit testing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and maintain existing code;
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions to understand and contribute to feature development;
  • Perform front-end tasks with tools such as JavaScript, jQuery, and React;
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and consistency.
