Job Purpose:
The Head - Technology Solutions leads the Bank’s technology development and application landscape across core banking, digital channels, and surrounding enterprise systems. He/ She ensures the design, development, integration, and optimization of business-critical applications.
The Head - Technology Solutions drives AI adoption, automation, and continuous improvement to enhance agility and scalability. He/ She aligns all related technology solutions with the Bank’s fintech-oriented digital roadmap to maintain compliance and support rapid delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
- Defines and executes technology solutions strategy aligned with digital transformation goals.
- Guides adoption of AI tools and automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Oversees end-to-end lifecycle of core banking, digital channels, ERP, payment systems, and middleware.
- Ensures interoperability and seamless integration across internal and external systems.
- Drives API-first integration strategy for secure and efficient connectivity.
- Maintains enterprise architecture principles to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Evaluates and integrates emerging technologies to support fintech agility.
- Collaborates with data teams to leverage AI for predictive analytics and process automation.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory frameworks, PCI DSS, and data privacy standards.
- Partners with Cybersecurity teams to maintain a robust security posture.
- Manages strategic vendor relationships to optimize technology partnerships.
- Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Owns technology budgets, monitors expenses, and delivers cost optimization.
- Builds and mentors a high-performing team to support evolving technology needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications in technology leadership, architecture, or digital transformation are preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in application development and support, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within banking or fintech environments.
- Proven expertise in AI/ML tools, automation frameworks, core banking and digital channel applications, and integration of surrounding systems such as ERP, payments, and middleware.
- Strong grasp of enterprise architecture principles and API-driven design to ensure scalable and resilient technology solutions.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and cybersecurity standards relevant to the financial sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
