Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled .NET Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is a fully remote, permanent role based in the UK, suitable for candidates ranging from entry-level to highly experienced professionals. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core
  • Build and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
  • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions (senior levels)
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core
  • Experience with ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Front-end experience with Angular, React, or JavaScript
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)
