React Native & React JS developer - Riga, Latvia

Position: React Native & React JS Developer

Type: 1 year long B2B contract with possible extension

Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in office in Riga)

Experience: 3+ years of professional experience

FLYX Cloud is a leading provider of Order Management System (OMS) and Digital Loyalty program solutions, focused on delivering personalized omnichannel customer experiences. Our vision is to be the all-in-one digital technology platform driving digital innovations to enhance customer experiences.

Flyx is a Belgian company with HQ located in Brussels. We are looking to expand our team in Latvia – the candidate should be able to travel to the office in Riga 3 days a week.

This is a B2B contracting opportunity for a 1-year long contract with a possible extension. The daily rate will be defined based on candidate qualifications and is ~200eur/day business-to-business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and reusable front-end components for web applications using React JS
• Collaborate with backend developers to implement well-structured APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to improve the quality and performance of the software.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine system requirements, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing your knowledge with the team and proposing innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in React Native for mobile development.
• Strong experience with React JS for web applications.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile practices.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Having worked with a native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C) is an advantage.
• Having worked with NextJS is an advantage.
