We are building Cleen. Think Waze for the supermarket aisle or Glassdoor for consumer goods.

How it works:

Scan shelves with your phone for instant scoring based on your own health, quality, pricing, and ethical criteria.

If a product fails, Cleen suggests 1–3 better alternatives.

We have the vision, the 5,500+ waitlist, and the business model.

Now, we need the right tech and product person to go live.

This is not a hired dev role. This is a Late Co-Founder seat. You get high equity, high autonomy, and the chance to build a platform that aims to redirect $1 billion away from low-quality products within a year.

We aren't building a barcode scanner. We are building a Real-Time AR/AI Intervention Layer.

To win, we need to achieve a Scan-to-Insight Latency of <200ms. You will architect a Hybrid Edge-Cloud system that pushes the limits of mobile vision:

• Edge AI (The Fast Path): Running lightweight object detection (YOLO/EfficientDet) and perceptual hashing locally on iOS/Android NPUs.
• The "Truth Engine" (NLP): A contrastive analysis pipeline that reads the marketing on the front ("All Natural!") and cross-references it with the ingredients on the back to flag misleading claims in real-time.
• Vector Search: Matching visual embeddings against a massive product vector database (Pinecone/Milvus).
• Generative Fallback: Integrating Gemini/multimodal LLMs to "read" unknown labels on the fly and populate our DB.

We are an AI-Native startup. We don't just build AI; we use it to build.

• You don't just code; you orchestrate code using Cursor, Copilot, and Claude to ship at 10x velocity.
• You are pragmatic. You know when to build a custom model and when to call an API.
• You are a "Product Engineer." You care about the UX of the AR overlay as much as you do about backend latency.

• Role: Technical Late Co-Founder (Future CTO).
• Location: Paris / US (Remote/Hybrid options).
• Compensation: Equity-Heavy. This is a founding partnership.
• Stage: $xM Pre-Seed / Launching V1.
