As a Strategy Analyst/Consultant at Deloitte Luxembourg, you'll be part of a dynamic team of typically 3-5 professionals dedicated to addressing clients' most important challenges and driving impactful strategic transformations. Within our Strategy Team, you'll tackle complex problems, formulate and test strategic hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations to help clients achieve their most critical goals.
Your next challenge
- Strategic Business Design: Collaborate with teams to define key business capabilities and target operating models aligned with strategic goals. Design ecosystems and processes to enhance market positioning and operational excellence using data insights.
- Growth Strategy: Develop implementable growth strategies to boost revenue, manage costs, improve profitability, and build sustainable market leadership.
- Market Entry Strategy: Support market entry strategic decisions with detailed research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation. Develop entry strategies by assessing risks and selecting optimal approaches (e.g., greenfield, joint ventures, or targeted acquisitions).
- Value Enhancement Planning: Define value enhancement strategies to boost value creation and overall return to shareholders. Identify optimization areas, streamline resources, and prioritize initiatives for sustainable gains.
- Post-Merger Integration: Ensure M&A investment cases are delivered by developing implementation strategies for seamless Post-Merger Integration (PMI) that unify operations, cultures, and systems. Focus on synergies and process optimization, address integration challenges, align priorities, and ensure long-term success.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conducts research to assess market trends, competitors, and customer behaviours, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Strategic Framework Development: Develops models and frameworks for business alignment, including growth strategies and operational improvements.
- Financial Analysis and Insights: Analyses data to provide actionable business insights, often using tools like financial modelling and business intelligence.
- Problem-Solving, Recommendations and Synthesis: Provides strategic recommendations for solving business problems, optimizing processes, and addressing gaps.
- Stakeholder Management: Engages with client’s senior executives and teams to present findings and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitors strategy effectiveness and tracks KPIs, adjusting as needed to ensure success.
- Educational Background: You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Engineering or a related field
- Professional Experience: 2 years of experience in strategy development, business design, or market analysis is beneficial. Candidates with more than 3 years of experience will be considered for the Consultant position.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is essential
- Personal Attributes: You are curious, reliable, and eager to learn. You demonstrate a solid understanding of financial analysis and key accounting principles
- Language Proficiency: Business fluency in English, with knowledge of French or German being a plus.
