The job

You work across channels to transform complex information into accessible and visually engaging formats, actively shaping Flo’s acquisition pipeline and visual identity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UA, product, content, medical, social) to conceptualize and execute visual assets that drive engagement and understanding.
- Translate complex health and scientific topics into easy-to-digest illustrations and infographics.
- Utilize insights from user research, experimentation (e.g., A/B testing), and analytics to refine design outputs for effectiveness.
- Mentor junior designers and freelancers, providing guidance on quality, process, and visual storytelling.
- Ensure that all creative output aligns with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools (including AI), and innovation relevant to health communication.
- Present creative concepts clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining strong design rationale.
- Produce basic to mid level animations / video edits to compliment static concept production (a plus)
- Elevate the quality, clarity, and brand consistency of visual design across marketing.
- Improve user comprehension and engagement through effective storytelling and design craft.
- Support cross-functional teams with design solutions that influence campaign outcomes and product metrics.
Basic Qualifications:

- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop; working knowledge of After Effects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visually engaging designs across channels (ads, app, social).
- Understanding of design for impact — from A/B tested assets to inclusive UI/UX visuals.
- Experience collaborating with content, product, and growth teams in a high-velocity environment.
- Excellent English communication and storytelling skills, both visual and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks in parallel.
- Experience mentoring or onboarding designers, setting visual quality standards.
