Data Analyst

As a finance-focused Data Analyst in our Africa Hub, your core mission is to turn complex finance and accounting data into clear, reliable insights that support decision-making and profitable growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, spotting patterns and errors, and taking full ownership of analytical processes — from data extraction to insight delivery. You’ll play an important role in strengthening financial data quality, improving controls, and contributing to smarter, data-driven operations in a fast-growing, international environment.

What you will need:

• Experience in data analysis, visualization tools and techniques
• Good Excel and SQL skills, ability to write and optimize queries
• Deep interest in the data analytics field with a focus on delivering data-driven insights
• Full ownership and accountability of end-to-end process
• Proficiency in English

Would be considered as an advantage:

• Knowledge and experience with IFRS, audit and reporting processes

What you will do:

• Support Finance Team by digging in finance / accounting data and providing insights (data control function, mistakes hunting and understanding its origin)
• Support Data Analytics team in understanding the performance of our processes and products by extracting data and creating meaningful insights
• Work closely with the IT team to resolve any data-related issues and bugs
• Apply the knowledge gained from data to suggest controls to prevent operational errors
• Support local teams with technical or data-related issues
• Make proposals for changes in business processes or the development of new processes
