These solutions combine semantic search, embeddings, and generative AI to deliver faster, more relevant, and more intuitive access to information.

This role sits at the core of innovation. As a Data Scientist, you will design and deploy AI-driven search solutions while ensuring transparency, explainability, and compliance with enterprise AI governance standards.

Your Team & Environment:

You will join a multidisciplinary product team consisting of experienced developers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner. The team is technically strong, highly collaborative, and eager to deepen its understanding of data science and AI-driven decision-making.

Together with this team, you will build scalable, production-ready solutions that responsibly integrate generative AI into real-world search systems. Your work will directly impact digital platforms used by a large and diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for semantic search and personalization
• Fine-tune and evaluate embedding models and hybrid retrieval logic within Elasticsearch-based search architectures
• Research, design, and implement LLM-based solutions for summarization, metadata generation, and related use cases
• Translate business and user needs into scalable data products and actionable insights
• Design clear dashboards and apply strong data storytelling to communicate insights and enable data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to scale AI solutions effectively
• Support enterprise AI governance processes, including privacy impact assessments, model documentation, and approval workflows
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model performance, robustness, and explainability
• Actively coach and guide the team in working effectively with data and establishing strong, sustainable data science processes

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning and natural language processing (NLP)
• Strong hands-on experience with semantic search, embeddings, and LLM integration
• Proven experience working with Elasticsearch and hybrid search architectures
• Solid experience with Python, including data engineering and ML pipelines
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, spaCy, or similar NLP frameworks
• Experience with model explainability, monitoring, and performance evaluation
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and software development best practices
• Experience creating dashboards and applying data storytelling techniques
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to balance innovation with compliance, governance, and responsible AI practices
