Overview / Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team for a remote project. This profissional should have vast experience in incidente response and hands-on experience with networks, systems, and cloud environments, experience in both offensive and defensive security, handling tests and incident response, and understand risk and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 or NIST.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop security strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling for networks, applications, and cloud environments.
- Detect, investigate, and remediate security incidents, performing root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
- Develop and enforce security policies, ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
- Oversee security monitoring, review logs and alerts, and implement continuous improvements to security controls.
Mandatory Requirements:
- +5 years experience in years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on exposure to networks, systems, cloud, and security operations.
- +3 years experience with Cybersecurity Incident Responder.
- Knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, or other relevant regulations.
- Ability to analyze complex security issues, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Capability to explain technical risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders and advise executive leadership.
- Certifications (preferable) like CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or cloud security certifications like AWS/Azure Security.
