Senior iOS Developer - 3+ months - Freelance

About the Role

We're building a cutting-edge multi-device soccer training app that leverages real-time computer vision to analyze ball trajectory and player movements. You'll join a small, highly skilled team working on the same codebase, collaborating on architecture and performance optimization.

What You'll Do
* Develop a universal iOS app for iPhone and iPad with role-based UI (Coach
Console, Front Camera, Rear Camera).
* Implement multi-device networking using MultipeerConnectivity with clock
synchronization.
* Integrate YOLO via Core ML for real-time ball detection at 60fps.
* Implement MediaPipe Pose detection for 33-landmark body tracking at 30Hz.
* Build a camera capture pipeline with frame buffering using AVFoundation.
* Apply Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) for pose comparison.
* Integrate with REST APIs for data sync and authentication.
* Optimize performance for iPhone 12+ devices.

Must-Have Skills
* 5+ years of iOS development experience.
* Strong in Swift 5.5+, SwiftUI, and Combine/async-await.
* Expertise in Core ML, Vision, and AVFoundation.
* Experience with MultipeerConnectivity and REST API integration.
* Proficient in Git and unit testing (XCTest).

Nice-to-Have Skills
* YOLO model integration experience.
* MediaPipe or pose estimation.
* Real-time video processing and computer vision algorithms.
* Signal processing / DTW.
* Metal / GPU optimization.
* CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
* Sports or fitness app experience.
* Published apps on the App Store.
