Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform)

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes to design, build, and operate a secure, scalable multi-cluster platform. In this role, you will work hands-on with AKS, Cilium for advanced networking and security, and Argo CD for GitOps-based deployments, contributing to a modern cloud platform used across multiple teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform following best practices
• Operate and optimize AKS clusters for both stateless and stateful workloads
• Implement secure networking and micro-segmentation using Cilium and eBPF
• Establish and maintain GitOps workflows with Argo CD
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Drive cost optimization and efficient cloud resource utilization
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and platform teams
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and support junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• 6–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure (AKS, VNet, Load Balancers, Managed Identities, Azure AD, Storage, Networking)
• Solid experience with Terraform (modules, state management, CI integration)
• Hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps deployment flows
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations (Deployments, StatefulSets, Ingress/Services, Helm, CRDs)
• Experience with Cilium network policies and securing Kubernetes networking
• Experience operating multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
• Proven ability to analyze and manage cloud costs
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python or similar)
• Strong understanding of cloud and Kubernetes security principles
• Very good communication and collaboration skills

Meritorious

• Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or Terraform certifications
• Experience with policy-as-code and Kubernetes admission controls
• Experience with Terraform Cloud/Enterprise or advanced state management
