The Role:


As a Incident Management Specialist you will join the Cloud & Connectivity department within IT & Digital Solutions. We are in a journey, together as a global team, establishing in Europe and Globally with digital capabilities. You will be responsible for maintaining, automating, securing, and optimizing the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support production applications and developer workflows. Ensuring high availability, observability, and repeatable, fast delivery of software.


Area of Responsibility



  • Infrastructure Management: Design, provision, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build, operate, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Automation: Automate repetitive operations tasks (configuration management, deployments, scaling) using scripts and tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, Bash).
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain logging, metrics, and tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) to ensure system health and accelerate incident response.
  • Incident Response & On-call: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
  • Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices (IAM, secrets management, network segmentation), manage vulnerability scans, and support audits.
  • Capacity & Performance: Monitor capacity, tune performance, and plan for scaling and cost optimization.
  • Release Management: Coordinate deployments, feature flags, rollbacks, and release documentation with engineering teams.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with developers, SREs, and product teams; create and maintain runbooks, run-deck automation, and onboarding documentation.
  • Platform Improvement: Champion platform reliability, observability, and developer experience improvements (self-service tooling, templates, shared libraries).



Knowledge / Experience


  • Experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering roles
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Proficient with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and release automation
  • Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Monitoring and logging tool experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
  • Scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash).
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and access controls.
  • Good incident response, troubleshooting, and RCA experience.
  • Experience with database operations and backup/recovery strategies
  • Data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken
  • Qualifying competences Experience from Agile development processes, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQTT
  • Experience with cost optimization and infrastructure observability at scale
  • Experience with data processing and analytics
