We are seeking a highly motivated Researcher with expertise in AI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exploring how AI can be leveraged to enhance the performance, efficiency, and adaptability of 6G networks. We work in a highly competitive and fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative algorithms and models for optimization of network resources
- Investigate deep learning algorithms for key functionalities of RAN, such as physical layer signal processing and multi-objective optimizations.
- Analyze and evaluate the performance of proposed solutions using simulations
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI. Develop concept for next generation RAN product algorithms.
- Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistical/Engineering physics
- Deep understanding of SOTA deep learning research from theory to practice. Familiar with the methodology of data driven research.
- First-hand experience of applying deep learning models for real world problems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ and proficiency in AI/ML frameworks for data collection, model training and evaluations using e.g., PyTorch, JAX.
- Fast to learn.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiar with transformers, attentions, diffusion models, representation learning and have experience in multimodality data and models.
- Experienced with reinforcement learning algorithms and evaluations would be a strong plus.
- Familiar with the theory and practice for dealing with high dimensional data by AI/machine learning.
- Experience of using computing clusters for high performance computing. Proficient to work with linux system.
- Strong coding skills are favored.
- This is a full-time 6-month position (with potential to extend). The work will be done at the Sweden Research Center, Huawei Technologies Sweden AB.
