Circle K Business Centre is a shared service center which supports Circle K Europe operations through a wide range of services within Finance & Control, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Transport Fuel and Customer Service.
Circle K is part of the Canadian company Alimentation Couche Tard Inc. (Couche-Tard), one of the world's largest joint-stock convenience retail companies, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE). It has operations in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It has approximately 12,300 sites across its network in North America (U.S. and Canada), Europe (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics), Asia and the Middle East. In the last few years, our continuously growing development teams (currently over 200 skilled IT professionals) have successfully implemented and deployed various software solutions to Circle K customers across Europe and North America. What You Will Be Working On
Considering Circle K global scale, continuous growth, need for flexibility and agile delivery, we built global platform based on cloud services (Azure, AWS) that provides its capabilities for different products without location constraints, delivering innovative solutions to our customers.
We Are Looking For Java Developer Who Can Help Us On Our Journey And Join The Backend Team In Platform Powered Development Section. The Team Is Enabling Payments And Payment Methods For Our Digital Solutions Provided By Our API Service Platform Which Lays The Digital Foundation For Circle K And Drives Towards Various Objectives Like

Requirements
Must have:
- 4+ years' Java 11+ development experience, including JUnit, Spock, Groovy, JPA, Hibernate,
- 2+ years' Spring framework experience (Data, Boot, Security, Cloud...),
- Experience in database modelling (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, Redis),
- Experience in REST / SOAP interfaces (microservice architecture and documenting on Swagger),
- Experience in working with Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Terraform, Docker, Postgres, Kibana, Grafana,
- Strong code review skills, excellent problem-solving skills,
- Experience in cloud environments, AWS preferred,
- Experience in agile software development frameworks and ways of working (Scrum),
- Knowledge and practice in applying design patterns/principles,
- Ability to collaborate effectively with PO, SM, Architects and Testers within the Team and across different Teams,
- Fluent English is a must - level B2/C1.
- Knowledge of TDD and BDD ways of automated testing (using spock/mockito/cucumber),
- Basics of Domain Driven Design, Github actions, CI/CD,
- Experience in React, TypeScript and modern SPA frameworks.
