Role Overview
We are looking for a People & Culture Intern who will support our HR & People Operations team across recruitment, employer branding, and daily people processes.
This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in hiring operations, culture initiatives, documentation, and internal communication within a global, remote-first tech environment.
You will work closely with the People & Culture Manager and collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth HR workflows and a strong candidate experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Support
- Source candidates across Upwork, LinkedIn, and talent communities.
- Screen candidate profiles based on predefined scorecards.
- Coordinate interviews and manage communication with candidates.
- Assist in preparing job descriptions, outreach templates, and evaluation forms.
- Maintain organized applicant tracking system.
- Support the creation of career page updates, social posts, and recruitment visuals.
- Prepare internal event announcements (Coffee Time, workshops, culture days).
- Assist in gathering content for team highlights, success stories, and onboarding showcases.
- Help update internal policies, onboarding guides, and process documents.
- Support new hire onboarding preparations
- Track leave forms, meeting notes, HR dashboards, and documentation updates.
- Assist in organizing internal events, surveys, and engagement activities.
- Contribute to L initiatives
- Assist People & Culture Manager with ad-hoc HR research, templates, and reporting.
- Interest in HR, People Operations, recruitment, or organizational psychology.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Comfortable using digital tools: Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, ATS tools.
- Advanced English writing and communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with visual tools (Canva/Figma) or content creation for HR branding.
- Hands-on HR Experience: Direct involvement in recruitment, people ops, and culture.
- Cross-functional Exposure: Work with tech, product, design, growth, and leadership teams.
- Remote Flexibility: Async-first communication and outcome-focused work.
