Plexus has partnered with an innovative blockchain infrastructure team building the next generation of decentralized systems to democratise block space and combat centralization. As a Protocol Engineer, you’ll design and implement scalable, high-performance Ethereum-based protocols, working at the cutting edge of blockchain and AI to help shape a fairer, more efficient Web3 ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Ethereum protocol components
- Build scalable, high-performance decentralized systems
- Contribute to protocol architecture, research, and technical direction
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers across blockchain and AI
- Ensure protocol security, reliability, and performance through testing and review
Requirements
- Strong experience with Ethereum protocol development
- Proficiency in Solidity and/or systems languages (Rust, Go, C++)
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and scaling
- Experience building distributed, performance-critical systems
