Teaching Assistant - Computer Science

Job Description

Join the Canadian University Dubai as a Teaching Assistant and support a dynamic academic team in delivering high-impact learning experiences across areas such as Programming, Computer Architecture, AI, Cyber Security, Data Mining, and more.

You will play a key role in guiding students, supporting lab sessions, assisting in graduation projects, and promoting a collaborative, hands-on learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in labs/tutorials across CS & Cyber Security courses
• Provide academic support during office hours
• Guide students on software/hardware tools & troubleshooting
• Support capstone and research projects
• Prepare lab materials and exercises
• Monitor student performance and offer feedback
• Maintain lab environments and participate in faculty meetings
• Engage in outreach, workshops, and student activities
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cyber Security, AI, or related field
• Strong academic background in computing fundamentals
• Hands-on with tools like Python, C/C++, Java, AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Web Technologies (React, Angular), and Microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills
• Passionate about mentoring and student success
