We’re partnering with a leading organization in the HVAC distribution industry to find a DevOps Engineer for a 6-month full-time contract with potential to extend to 12-months. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a cloud-focused environment and support key infrastructure initiatives across modern DevOps tools and platforms.
About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll collaborate with internal development and security teams to enhance infrastructure reliability, streamline deployments, and optimize cloud performance. You’ll be responsible for managing CI/CD processes, strengthening cloud security, and ensuring scalable infrastructure practices are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and optimize infrastructure across AWS environments
- Manage and maintain Docker containers and orchestration processes
- Implement and refine infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Enhance and monitor cloud security through WIZ and Cloudflare WAF
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve automation and deployment efficiency
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and Docker
- Familiarity with Cloudflare (including WAF configuration and management)
- Experience with WIZ or similar cloud security tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a part-time contract setting
Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: Full-time MST or EST working hours
- Location: Remote (must be legally eligible to work in Canada)
