Responsibilities
- Diagnose, prioritize, and resolve bugs in a live e-commerce environment
- Optimize backend performance and ensure system stability under varying loads
- Implement incremental improvements based on roadmap and user feedback
- Collaborate using GitHub for issue tracking, code reviews, and version control
- Maintain clear documentation of fixes, changes, and optimizations
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Proactively identify areas for technical debt reduction and process improvement
- Proven experience in backend development for e-commerce or similar transactional platforms
- Strong proficiency in server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Java)
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, caching, and API integrations
- Solid understanding of debugging, profiling, and performance optimization techniques
- Experience with GitHub for code management and collaborative workflows
