About The Role

You will be a full stack senior engineer that develops toolings for vehicle operations. The ideal candidate will be able to closely collaborate with the operation team and identify opportunities for automation. You should be proficient in developing UI and API to meet business requirements.

Collaborate with the operation team and identify opportunities for automation.
Design and implement frontend and backend micro services.
Configure engineering dashboard and alert.
Integrate Uber ecosystem and 3rd party tools.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Bachelor degree in computer science or related fields.
Proficient in Golang, Python and Javascript.
Proficient in Grafana and Prometheus.
Have experience in React, MySQL, ORM.
Strong communication skills, sense of ownership, execution and engineering quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Autonomous Vehicles industry.
Mentor junior engineers.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
