Deloitte Bengaluru is Hiring – Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Deloitte Bengaluru is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance and optimize our cloud and AWS environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. You will assess and implement a wide range of cloud-native and AWS services to support platform engineering and deployment pipelines for internal and external applications. This role involves close collaboration with architecture, engineering, IT, networks, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to architecture and engineering teams.
• Enhance the Cloud Platform and AWS environment to drive improved business outcomes.
• Advise teams on new AWS services, DevOps tools, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, operational, and governance policies through automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges using cloud-native and AWS services.
• Champion automation-first and cloud-first solutions internally and externally.
• Identify and implement process and tooling improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Design and deliver Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automated deployment solutions.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong knowledge of AWS services (compute, networking, storage, security) and cloud technologies.
• Experience designing solutions across multiple AWS services and DevOps platforms.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python preferred, Java, Ruby, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with ITSM/SRM/CMDB tools (e.g., Jira Service Management, BMC Helix).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning and security best practices.
