Deloitte Bangalore is hiring Senior UI/UX Designer (8+ Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal UI/UX Designer with strong expertise in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric designs for complex banking applications. This role combines design excellence with technical proficiency in modern front-end development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, responsive user interfaces that align with UX best practices and business goals.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive designs.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Apply design systems and component libraries for consistency and scalability.
• Contribute to UI testing and quality assurance for design accuracy and usability.
• Stay updated on emerging design trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the Banking domain.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with React and TypeScript for design integration.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-platform compatibility.
• Knowledge of backend integration concepts and RESTful APIs (basic understanding).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to design governance.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with shared design systems and front-end tooling.
• Exposure to AI-driven design tools and modern digital strategies.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and future-focused design practices.
