Role: Senior UX Developer/Designer

Location: Sydney

Contract: 6 Months

Role Purpose:

The Senior UX Developer/Designer leads the design and development of user-centric experiences for complex SaaS-based applications and enterprise programs. This role combines advanced UX design expertise with front-end development skills to deliver scalable, accessible, and innovative solutions that meet strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic UX Leadership:

• Define UX strategy for multi-tenant SaaS platforms and enterprise-level applications.
• Mentor junior designers and developers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.

Advanced Design & Prototyping:

• Create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems for complex SaaS workflows (e.g., onboarding, subscription management, dashboards).
• Ensure consistency and scalability of design patterns across large programs.

Front-End Development Expertise:

• Implement complex UI components using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Optimize performance and accessibility for cloud-based applications.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with senior product managers, architects, and business leaders to align UX with organizational goals.
• Present design concepts and research findings to executive stakeholders.

Data-Driven Design:

• Utilize analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to refine and optimize experiences.
• Champion accessibility and compliance with WCAG and industry standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience in UX design and front-end development.
• Expert in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular).
• Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and design systems.
• Working knowledge of designing for SaaS-based applications and complex enterprise programs.

Desirable:

• Experience in multi-tenant architecture and subscription-based workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility compliance.
