This role isn’t about starting from zero or inheriting legacy, there’s an early concept in place, but what’s missing is you, a senior designer, to turn it into a cohesive, premium product.

This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity to own the design direction of a brand-new wealth management platform, built for high-net-worth users, and we’re looking for one senior product designer to own the UI and dashboard experience end-to-end.

This role is Sydney based, the team is fully remote right now, until the Sydney CBD office opens in January offering flexible working and a collaborative home base.

The product is already moving. Engineers are in place. Early concepts exist.

What’s missing is one senior designer to set the visual standard and bring it all together.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning the UI/UX of the platform, with a strong emphasis on UI craft
• Designing clean layouts, elegant dashboards, and data-heavy interfaces
• Turning complex financial information into something simple and intuitive
• Building polished prototypes in Figma
• Helping establish a design system and component library
• Working closely with product and engineering as requirements evolve
• Presenting design thinking to senior stakeholders and explaining the why, not just the what

This Role Is For Someone Who

• Has exceptional UI skills (spacing, typography, hierarchy, restraint)
• Has worked on dashboards, financial products, SaaS or data-heavy platforms
• Is comfortable owning design decisions independently
• Can present confidently to senior stakeholders
• Has 5+ years’ experience in reputable product teams or agencies
• Is fluent in Figma, components, libraries, and scalable systems
