Position: Agile Scrum Master
Location: Melbourne
Duration: 6 months
The Agile Scrum Master role requires the holder to be a trainer and agile enforcer. The objective is to raise awareness and understanding of agile delivery models, encourage adoption with advice on best practice, uplift and enhance AEMOs ability to deliver, as well as mentor and coach the team on the agile mindset:
- Contribute to establishing many of these new practices and processes, this includes the full aspect of the development of the lifecycle from the early design through to the build and run functions.
- Identifying and harnessing the underlying technology and tools for wider use in the organization as part of AEMO' digital transformation.
- Work as part of a team that will take ownership of some newly created digital assets and will be responsible for their running and ongoing development and maintenance of applications that will be utilizing modern architectures and hosted in the cloud.
- Plan and maintain product backlog in collaboration with product owners and delivery team.
- Organize and lead agile ceremonies as required (e.g. sprint planning, standups, reviews, backlog refinement and retros).
- Document workstream progress through status reports (e.g. leveraging combination of tools such as Jira and Excel), roadmap reporting and reporting key metrics such as velocity.
- Document and manage workstream risks, issues and dependencies with aim to remove roadblocks and escalating when required and Facilitate compliance with project governance and documentary requirements throughout all phases of the development lifecycles.
