About the team and the role

Join Sydney Airport’s Planning & Delivery team and help deliver a diverse range of construction projects. As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll support end‑to‑end delivery across the project lifecycle - from early planning and design through construction, commissioning and handover - while developing your capability to take on smaller projects independently.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Liaise with internal teams, consultants and contractors to keep scope, budget and timelines on track
  • Support site activities, inspections and quality assurance; help resolve day‑to‑day technical issues
  • Contribute to safety, environmental and compliance requirements, including maintaining site records
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and project documentation for stakeholders and approvals
  • Participate in commissioning and handover, and assist with follow‑up during the defects liability period

About you

  • A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable juggling priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building or a related field, with up to 4 years’ industry experience
  • Awareness of WHS, environmental and sustainability practices; confident using common software tools
