About The Role
We're looking for a senior full-stack developer to join our team. In this role, you'll own features from concept to production, working across the entire stack. You'll have the autonomy to make technical decisions and drive implementations forward. This is a role for someone who thrives on taking initiative, solving complex problems, and delivering quality software.
What You'll Do
This position requires a work permit and permanent residence in Finland. Applicants may be required to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (726/2014).

About The Role

What You'll Do
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and deliver it as working features
- Make technical and architectural decisions
- Perform peer reviews and lead technical discussions at team and product level
- Investigate and resolve production issues
- Contribute to technical planning, backlog management, and seasonal planning
- Mentor and empower team members
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong expertise in both frontend and backend development
- Technical leadership experience and ability to guide architectural decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Willingness to learn new technologies quickly and share knowledge with others
- Excellent Finnish language skills (C1 level) to communicate effectively with internal teams and understand our Finnish-language products
- Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript (primary), Scala
- Frontend: React, next.js
- Backend: Node.js, serverless architectures
- Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB (relational, vector, and key-value stores)
- Cloud: AWS with CDK/CloudFormation (experience with GCP or Azure also valuable)
