Job Overview

The IoT Edge Solutions team in Sophia Antipolis is looking for a highly motivated software engineering graduate to join one of the most attractive technology hubs in France. Situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains, at the heart of Europe’s largest and most vibrant technology park. Our site has a long history of delivering extraordinary designs from Arm’s Cortex™ processor family, and you will be part of this innovative environment!

Role

You will take part in Arm’s graduate program and complete several rotations within the team to gain experience in different embedded software roles:

  • Linux device driver integration (GPU, PCIe, USB, etc.)
  • QA and firmware testing
  • Firmware development
  • Firmware integration

What could you be doing as a Graduate Software Engineer?

  • Participate in different aspects of open-source software development, from product design and implementation to testing and support.
  • Work on solutions that will make use of your existing knowledge and skills, whilst also learning something new.
  • Seek opportunities for enhancement/automation, and trial new tools.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold (or are on track to hold) a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering by the programme start date. Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.
  • Possess excellent C skills.

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

  • Knowledge of Arm architectures and experience in embedded software development.
  • Deep knowledge of software design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.
  • Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, hackathons, or internships etc.
