Intellias, a leading automotive software provider, is seeking a Senior Android Platform Developer to work on Android Automotive IVI solutions for major OEMs. You’ll focus on connectivity components, developing Android platform HAL and service-layer features for top-tier brands.

Requirements

• Strong Kotlin & Java skills; solid Android architecture knowledge
• Experience with Jetpack (including Compose)
• Multithreading & concurrency (Coroutines / RxJava)
• Android Studio, Gradle, unit testing, debugging tools
• Strong C++ knowledge (memory management, STL, algorithms)
• Software architecture & design patterns
• Experience with race conditions, deadlocks, and performance optimization
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience
• English & German: B2
• Willingness to work from Munich office

Nice to Have

• Git, Jira/Bugzilla
• Python, Bash scripting
• Strong learning mindset

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Android Automotive features with focus on quality, reusability, and performance
• Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, and design
• Conduct code reviews and provide estimates
• Ensure alignment with client expectations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and share knowledge
