Java account security engineer

We're working with an exciting leading European eCommerce comparison platform used by millions. Looking for a backend engineers to join there account teams. You’d help build and secure core account and identity systems in a modern, cloud-based setup.

You'll be doing

•Design and review secure authentication and authorization flows aligned with our system architecture.

•You’ll work on libraries, REST services, and components in Java/Kotlin and TypeScript/JavaScript, while helping shape our platform infrastructure, including CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting.

•Support teams as they integrate with our SSO solution to ensure secure, consistent authorization across services.

• Mentoring and support your team with the lead engineer.

You’ll need:

• Strong Java (6 years minimum experience and Spring boot experience (Kotlin and Spring Security are a plus)

• Knowledge of Keycloak with OAuth2 or OpenID Connect

• AWS or similar cloud background

• Experience as a senior and worked on high traffic platforms

• A proactive, collaborative mindset

• Fluent English, have right to work and if not in Berlin, be able to relocate there.
