We are currently inviting an ambitious Embedded Systems Developer to join our growing R&D team in Vilnius/Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading telematics solutions in the world and master your development skills.

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

For this position, we are seeking an engineer to develop our specialized BLE short-range tracking devices, which also feature integrated sensors and mesh networking capabilities, all designed for low power and long-lifetime.

In this role, you will:

• Develop new and existing products in C/C++ programming language improving existing features as well as delivering new functionalities, get involved with technical decision making.
• Create and maintain documentation of the project Participate in Agile (Scrum) team life and internal processes.
• Work with hardware engineers, software developer teams, and Product Owners during development life-cycle.
• Take part in mentorship and coaching others to work with these technologies.

What we expect of you:

• 2+ years of experience in programming embedded systems in C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with embedded system debugging tools and various measuring equipment.
• Experience in both writing device drivers as well as application layer code.
• Independent problem-solving ability in embedded systems projects.
• Experience in multi-task embedded system architecture design methodologies and the latest software quality standards.
• Good English language skills (both spoken and written), as it will be your primary working language.
• To be able to work from the office (in Vilnius or Kaunas).

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Degree in Computer Science / Electronics engineering.
• Knowledge of other programming or scripting languages.
• Understanding of digital electronics schematics.
• BLE programming experience.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up 40 Eur/h (~3300 Eur—6600 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.
