Senior Algorithm Engineer

GTS Space & Aerospace is exclusively partnering with a startup in Luxembourg that is looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer with strong knowledge of AI.

Our client is a cutting-edge space company based in Luxembourg, pushing boundaries in aerospace technology, advanced systems integration, and deep-space innovation. As they expand their team, we're looking for a passionate AI & Algorithm Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in the aerospace and space industry to help bring their missions to life.

Our clients require:

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant field (Computer Science, Robotics, Control Systems, or similar).
• 5+ years of experience developing computer vision and/or autonomous system algorithms for real-world applications.
• Expertise in computer vision (object detection/tracking, SLAM, visual odometry, camera calibration).
• Strong knowledge of state estimation and control, including Kalman filtering (EKF/UKF) and sensor fusion.
• Strong C++ and Python skills, with experience using vision, optimization, and ML libraries (e.g., Eigen, OpenCV, PyTorch).
• Hands-on experience with modern detection/segmentation models and feature extraction pipelines.
• Proficient in ROS2 development, sensor integration, and data pipelines.
• Experience deploying algorithms on embedded platforms under performance constraints.
