About the role

As an experienced full-stack developer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our new platform and existing tools. You will work on new projects and play a crucial role in decisions related to the architecture, data processing, and the UI. Additionally, you will help modify and improve our current products. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues on the tech team, providing guidance and support, and contribute to a culture of professionalism and excellence within the team.

You start the morning in a classy way, with a cup of coffee and your good ol' standup of course. You've regain some clarity on where you left off and dive straight into coding. You begin by reviewing the code you wrote yesterday, refining it, and pushing the latest changes to the repository. Everything seems to work fine, but you notice a bug in a new feature. You ping Arno, the team lead, on Slack to discuss a potential fix. Following that, you dive into implementing a new feature that you are very enthusiastic about. The morning flies by as you get into the flow, tackling challenges and writing clean, efficient code. After lunch, you join a brainstorming session with the team, sharing ideas and solving problems together. The day wraps up before you know it! It's time to log off, feeling accomplished and ready for the next day's adventures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance our current platform and tools efficiently and securely
• Contribute to discussions on new developments, tools, and architecture
• Actively participate in scrum sessions, including Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Maintain high code quality through Pull Requests, code scans, and unit tests
• Identify bottlenecks and implement effective improvements
• Document code and process decisions to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies

About you

• You are an enthusiastic and professional developer with 4+ years experience
• You have knowledge of and experience with PHP, Laravel, PhpUnit/Pest, SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), JavaScript and Vue.js
• You have an excellent command of the English language
• Experience with Redis, Python, (Google) Cloud Services, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions) are a plus
