HR Payroll Assistant – International Payroll (Netherlands)
32 hours/week | Temporary contract
We’re looking for an HR Payroll Assistant to support our international payroll operations and help manage our internal HR development platforms. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to grow in HR, payroll, systems and Dutch employment practices.
What you will do:
- Support monthly payroll administration (data collection, changes, absences).
- Assist in reviewing payroll information from external payroll providers in 6 other locations (Singapore, China, Japan, South Africa, UK and Deel).
- Maintain employee files in line with Dutch GDPR (AVG).
- Help with compliance tasks (sick leave, holiday allowance, minimum wage checks).
- Act as the first point of contact for basic HR/payroll questions.
- Support HR and Finance with administrative tasks, reporting and documentation.
- Manage and update HR development platforms, ensuring data accuracy, user access, and smooth operation of HR tools used for training, onboarding or employee development.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business, Finance, Economics or similar).
- Recent graduate or internship experience in HR/administration is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and good Excel skills.
- Good communication in English.
- Interest in HR systems, tools and learning platforms.
- Willingness to learn Dutch payroll and HR processes.
