Role Description

This full-time, on-site PhD role is based in Ljubljana and involves conducting high-quality research in quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, or tensor networks. The candidate will collaborate with academic staff to contribute to research projects, write scientific papers, and present findings at conferences. More on qmltn.ai/positions .


Qualifications

  • A strong background in programming, software development, or algorithms is required.
  • Proven research skills, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving proficiency are essential.
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Experience in quantum computing
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with expertise in scientific writing and presenting research findings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Slovenian is an advantage.
  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information science, or a related field is required.
  • Strong motivation to advance knowledge and make contributions to the field of quantum computing and quantum information science.
