ROLE

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for the commercial performance (P&L ownership) of two retail E-Commerce websites in Switzerland (Visilab and McOptic) and one non-transactional website (Kochoptik). The role includes defining and executing the local digital strategy, ensuring business growth, and acting as a bridge between central E-Commerce teams and local market stakeholders.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage the E-Commerce P&L, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze site performance metrics and customer behavior to optimize traffic acquisition, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and market share growth.
  • Coordinate with local Marketing, Retail, Operations, and Logistics teams to support omnichannel initiatives / campaigns and customer experience excellence.
  • Implement eCommerce campaigns, propositions & optimizations from briefing to reporting, with a focus on quality execution and stakeholders alignment (local & central).
  • Collaborate daily with teams managing Merchandising, Content, and Master Data to ensure site operations are timely and effective.
  • Report regularly on business performance to the Cluster Leader and the Sr. E-Commerce Manager EMEA and propose strategic action plans.



YOUR PROFILE


  • 5+ years of experience in E-Commerce management, preferably in retail or consumer goods sectors.
  • Strong business acumen with hands-on experience managing E-Commerce P&Ls.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, CRM, SEO/SEM, UX/UI principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally within an international, matrixed organization.
  • High sense of ownership, entrepreneurial mindset, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficiency with eCommerce platforms (Commerce-Tools, Magento, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English; French and/or German is a plus
