Your role

As Head of Information and Cybersecurity (CISO), you are responsible for setting the direction of the company’s information security work and ensuring that the organization complies with relevant laws, requirements, and internal governing documents. You represent the Business Area (BA) in the corporate security forums, serve as a contact point for stakeholder requirements, and drive the development of our security strategies. This role involves working closely with both the business and IT to translate security objectives into practical, long-term ways of working. You stay updated on developments in the arena of Information and cybersecurity, analyze changing threat landscapes, and initiate actions when necessary. You are also responsible for further developing the Security guidelines and ensuring that our security processes remain effective and relevant over time.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure that information and cybersecurity risks are managed in a structured and long-term manner.
• Develop minimum compliance requirements within information security.
• Support the organization in matters related to information classification, continuity planning, and risk analysis.
• Contribute expertise to IT architecture authorization processes.
• Monitor and follow up on regulatory compliance and ensure proper separation of duties.
• Represent the strategic security domain in the Incident Response Team (IRT) and give support to the Business Area within incidents.
• Initiate forensic activities when needed.
• Provide security guidance to projects, procurement, and other business areas as requirements evolve over time.
  
  
  

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual with deep knowledge of information and cybersecurity. You will work both strategically and operationally and are accustomed to leading complex matters. You are an effective communicator and can operate in cross-functional groups.

Requirements:

• Relevant higher education within IT, information security, security or equivalent work experience.
• Documented experience in information security work within a complex organization.
• Solid knowledge of laws and regulations related to information security or/and cybersecurity.
• Experience working with risk analysis and security incident management.
  
  
  

Meritorious:

• Experience working within Saab’s operations or other large organizations.
• Knowledge of relevant IT security systems and tools.
• Understanding of information or/and cybersecurity threats and trends.
  
  
  

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
