We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join a global leading client on a remote working basis. Initial 6 month contract + option to extend long-term & Start date ASAP.

Background The selected candidate will be joining a cross-functional team responsible for the front-end commerce experience of the clients website(s) to continuously improve ease of shopping and conversion. We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer who pairs strong eCommerce and visual design skills with excellent collaboration, adaptability, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will enhance the user journey, leveraging their expertise to boost conversion on the eCommerce platform.

Scope The designer is expected to be assigned to one of the movements like personalization, adaptive journeys, product recommendations and to work closely with 1-2 product team(s) to deliver expected output, also joining a group of 10+ designers working on Web experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • eCommerce Expertise:
  • Demand: Solid understanding of eCommerce UX best practices with a strong portfolio of successful user experiences designed to drive conversion.
  • Desire: Experience with large-scale retail brands.
  • Data-Driven UX Design:
  • Demand: Understanding on web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Content square) and A/B testing platforms. Skilled in interpreting data to make UX design recommendations.
  • Desire: Familiarity with tools specific to conversion rate optimization.
  • Visual Design Skills:
  • Demand: Strong visual design skills with experience in Figma. Ability to create high-quality, visually engaging interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
  • Desire: Experience with the clients design language or similar modular design systems in a large-scale retail setting.
  • Agile Development Environment:
  • Demand: Prior experience working within an Agile framework, with a comfort level in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Desire: Ability to deliver high-quality designs that work well within the clients tech stack.

Required Soft Skills

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
  • Demand: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-backed design recommendations.
  • Desire: Ability to proactively identify UX bottlenecks and provide creative solutions to improve the user journey.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Demand: Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas effectively to stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Desire: Empathetic listener who can incorporate feedback from diverse perspectives, including those of global team members.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility:
  • Demand: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • Desire: Growth-oriented, staying up-to-date on UX and eCommerce trends to bring fresh insights to the team.
