Role: Research & Development Technical Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Design & Technical Lead to drive innovation, lead complex product development, and support cross-functional teams across the full R&D lifecycle. You will play a central role in shaping product architecture, guiding engineers, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Job Description

• Lead product architecture, system design, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, Design, QA, and Product teams to align with strategy.
• Conduct technology research, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concepts.
• Oversee technical execution, code reviews, and risk mitigation.
• Act as a liaison across R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing.
• Mentor engineering teams and ensure clear technical communication.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices.
• In early R&D phases, utilize Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum/Kanban) for sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and task assignment to maximize flexibility and rapid iteration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• AI & Robotics: Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Sensor Fusion, OpenCV, ROS, LabVIEW
• Native Arabic speaker is must
• Strong technical leadership experience in R&D or product development.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
