We’re looking for an HR Specialist to join our HR Business Commercial team in the Nordics. In this role, you’ll be the HR point of contact for Norway, Denmark, and Finland, supporting managers and employees on a wide range of HR topics. You’ll maintain and update employee records, manage HR processes, and collaborate closely with the Head of Global HR Commercial on regional and global HR tasks and projects.
This position is based in Oslo, Norway. This is primarily an onsite role with limited flexibility for remote work when needed. You’ll be part of the HR Business Commercial team and report to the Head of Global HR Commercial.
The Responsibilities
As HR Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting HR operations and ensuring compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and reference checks.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and new employee documentation.
- Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees, providing timely resolutions.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional HR Manager Nordics to manage the Employee Handbook and policy suggestions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support performance review cycles and documentation.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
In Addition, You’ll Need The Following Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of HR administrative or generalist experience.
- Familiarity with HR systems, preferably Workday.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to suggest improvements on Policies HR administrative processes
- High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.
