Senior/Lead React Developer

We are looking for a Senior/Lead React Developer to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.

You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team for a major aeronautical manufacturer.

You will be a part of the team working on the project, the purpose of which is to collect data of aircrafts in order to optimize their performance and trajectory. You will be designing the project management tool (similar to Jira) to store and process tasks for manufacturing stage of aircraft production. You will be collaborating with your colleagues from France and Poland.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Mission/activities:

  • Your mission as a front-end developer, is to develop the front-end layer of the application.
  • Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
  • Help to define requirements and implement software designs
  • Create and test software to enhance the solution and all related modules and services
  • Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques

Must have requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience with React
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development
  • Solid IT technical background
  • Being able to start at short notice
  • Proactiveness, strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills
  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Fluent English C1
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office (2 days/month) in Katowice


Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience working in a distributed and international team
  • Fullstack experience with Node.js in the backend
  • Leadership skills/experience
