Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Monitor security systems and respond to incidents, alerts, and threats in a timely manner.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and security audits.
  • Implement endpoint, network, and application security solutions.
  • Manage IAM, access controls, and identity governance.
  • Secure cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP following best practices.
  • Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
  • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS).
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams to embed security by design.
  • Maintain documentation for security architecture, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, WAF).
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR/XDR, DLP, vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys).
  • Knowledge of IAM, MFA, SSO, and directory services.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security services (AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GCP Security).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of application security principles and OWASP Top 10.
  • Strong incident response, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
