Summary

HCL Workload Automation Lab services team is looking for a Project Manager to help drive business growth through Professional services delivery and Migration Center of Excellence (COE) improvement. The HCL Software Lab Services team is a global organization responsible for delivering Professional Services to enable customers to gain their business values quickly by implementing HCL Workload Automation Solution.

Primary Focus for this Project Manager will be providing expert management to customer, owning migration and implementation projects from initial client assessment to successful completion, partnering with other teams in the organization and with the client, be the single point of accountability for one or more projects, and point-person for customer stakeholders at different levels. Be willing to travel both locally in country and abroad at short notice.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and maintaining Project Plan and keeping track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards and address shortfalls.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & EXECUTION

• Project kickoff and planning - requirement gathering, securing approval for architecture and technical documents from all stakeholders
• Development, testing, implementation / deployment of the solution, installation of HWA, integration with ecosystem services and applications
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely migration of jobs to HWA, testing, go-live
• Deep expertise with project management tools
• Proven dependency, issue and risk management skills
• Project Governance - Identifies and escalates issues and risks within project structure.
• Can build strong relationships with consultants within the project.
• Track and secure timely customer approval of milestone, and invoice for payment.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

• stakeholder mapping, establishing project governance/cadence - collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely migration of jobs to HWA, testing, go-live
• Project reporting creation and metric tracking
• Project status communication at different levels – project team level, executive level, etc.

OPERATIONAL READINESS

• Secure required change approval board (CAB) team approvals for go-live
• Help create standard operations procedures (SOPs)
• create hyper care, pre and post cutover plans, create transition
• Create end-user, support and operational team training plans and execution

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• 10+ years of experience in End to End managing and delivering complex technology implementation projects.
• Extensive working knowledge on SDLC and Agile based project methodology.
• Experience in interacting with customers all levels (core project team, end users, customer executives / sponsors, etc.) to understand and documenting their needs
• Demonstrable track record of success supporting and delivering complex projects
• Strong stakeholder management and skills influencing customers and senior management
• Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments
• Demonstrates strong communication, engagement and influencing skills
• Strong experience managing dependencies, issues and risk, and secure client approval and commitment to resolution
• Strong experience to consult directly with customers and offer strategic advice to enable project objectives
