Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the modernization of core Wealth Management platforms, with a focus on the CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS). This role bridges business stakeholders and technology teams, translating regulatory and business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for modern systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, business process analysis, and gap assessment.

• Work directly with COBOL Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to reverse-engineer and clearly document the complex business rules embedded in our current systems.

• Create high-quality documentation (Functional Specifications, Process Maps) that translates legacy COBOL logic and regulatory requirements into a format usable by modern development teams.

• Support testing and defect resolution to ensure the new systems accurately and efficiently handle all CPF and SRS processes.

• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and support process improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business and technical teams.

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services
• Strong domain knowledge in Wealth Management, CPF, SRS, or retirement/investment products
• Experience with requirements elicitation, BPMN process modelling, and documentation (BRD, FSD, User Stories)
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred

• CBAP, IIBA, or equivalent certification
