Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, configure, and maintain our enterprise MPLS and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and server management, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of IT environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise MPLS and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Monitor network performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal throughput.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Implement network changes, upgrades, and optimizations following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT and business requirements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational network security policies and standards.
  • Manage servers supporting network devices, ensuring timely patching and updates (Windows).
  • Provide technical consultancy for system onboarding into MPLS network infrastructure.


Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills - Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with switching technologies (VLAN, STP, Trunking, Port Security).
  • Proficiency in routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with large-scale MPLS network configuration (P/PE/CE routers, VRF, VRF Route Fusion).
  • Experience configuring and managing enterprise networking devices (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent).
  • Practical experience with Cisco ISE, DNAC, and F5 Load Balancers.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing.
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers and workstation patching.
  • Working knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
  • Familiarity with network security concepts (IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, WUG, Veeam Backup, SyslogNG).
  • Exposure to cloud networking and VPC management (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers/Hyper-V management (AD, CA, SMTP, DNS, WSUS).


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications preferred (CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
